Cristiano Ronaldo Baby Rumors Spread

As the World Cup winds down, one of the sports most fantasized-about stars, Cristiano Ronaldo, is making waves with the news that he has hired a surrogate to have his child despite his being single. According to many sources, the cost of his surrogacy plan is upwards of $20 million.

The assumptions that arise from this choice are many… some say that it’s not really a surrogacy but a mistaken one-night-stand gone wrong, and other believe that in this decision he is basically coming out to the world as a gay man.

We wonder though, if these very shocking allegations could be overshadowing another less accusatory choice — perhaps Ronaldo is just a successful man who wants to have a child but doesn’t feel he’s ready to marry (or ever, maybe). The idea that a man can’t raise a child alone, or that a couple has to be married to properly bring up a kid is apparently not as antiquated as we might like to think.

My opinion? Option 2 of three. The guy is gay. But I don’t think that because of the surrogacy. I mean, just look at that chest/shorts/painted nails combo. Right?
