According to EntertainmentWise, she’s gotten some advice on how to get back in the dating game from her pal Jennifer Aniston – by online dating! Sources say Aniston had used online dating to get her groove back after her very public break ups (with Brad Pitt and Vince Vaughn, we imagine), and suggested that Moore do the same. We’re sure that Moore would have a fantastic time using online dating and would have no problem getting the pick of the litter!

However, it may be unnecessary, as the mag also claims Demi might already be dating a California National Guard member named Blake Corl-Baietti. We’ll let you know if he hear any rumors of Demi joining the online dating game!

We all remember where we were when a 25-year-old Ashton and 40-year-old Demi first got together… well, we all remember how we felt then, at least. Probably a mix of “you go girl!” and “really?!” and “PUBLICITY STUUUUNT!” However, as their relationship progressed, we all started to think, huh, maybe they really do like each other. And then they got married, and then they got boring, and then we all forgot about them.

Fast forward six years, and reports surfaced that on the eve of their sixth wedding anniversary, Ashton had a fling with a 22-year-old woman in Las Vegas named Sara Leal. Kutcher denied the incident, but rumors of a split began swirling, ending with an announcement by Demi Moore yesterday that indeed, the two would divorce.

The 49-year-old Moore says she’s ending her marriage “with great sadness and a heavy heart.”

Demi says, “as a woman, a mother, and a wife, certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.”

The tone of the announcement seems to confirm that infidelity was indeed the cause of the split, although of course we can’t be sure until she gets interviewed by Vogue or something in the coming months. We at DatePro are left wondering if the split solidifies the idea that cougar/cub relationships are better left as casual, fun flings, and not attempts at anything long term, or if, as always, this is one case that not be called the rule.

Contrary to the belief that online daters are just losers incapable of meeting a mate in the real world, Dancing With the Stars judge and ex-fly girl dancer Carrie Ann Inaba says that she met her fiance, Jesse Sloan, on the popular dating site eHarmony.com. From ABC.com:

“I met him on eHarmony,” she said. “I was dating all these younger guys. I was like, ‘Maybe I need to change it up a little.’”

Inaba, 43, explained that she didn’t post a picture or offer any clues to her profession to make sure Sloan really was interested in her, not her fame.

“In his picture, I felt like I already knew him,” she told “Access.” “He took a risk because he didn’t know what I looked like or anything.”

The couple, who has been engaged since March, are in no hurry to get married, although Carrie Ann says they are trying for a baby.

“My age, at 43, I have to get moving on the baby,” she said. “The wedding can come later.”

If this beautiful, classy, and talented woman had troubles finding a guy at a bar, but had fantastic luck on a dating site, then shouldn’t we all be open to online dating? Here’s to hoping that Carrie Ann’s openness and honesty about her dating habits will inspire others to try a less popular dating method than just sitting at a bar, waiting for someone to pick up on you!

After a whopping 72 hours of marriage, reality starlet Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from her NFL beau, Kris Humphries. According to People, she is citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their quick split, however we believe it may have something to do with the fact that putting your wedding on TV in front of millions of viewers and banking upwards of $20 million of of it might not be the ROCK SOLID BONDING material that marriages should be based on.

“I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision,” she says in a statement to E!, which airs her reality shows. “I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”

“Sometimes things don’t work out as planned”?!?!??!?!?! Uf. If the issues in a marriage are so terrible that you don’t work on them longer than THE FIRST TWO MONTHS YOU ARE MARRIED, I can’t imagine that you’d “REMAIN FRIENDS.” Right?

In the celebrity relationship department, no one is off limits. Not the lowest of low (re: Spencer and Heidi), and not the most perfect of duos. Take Beyonce and Jay-Z, for example. The high-power couple who are so good at keeping a low-profile are expecting their first child together, and while the world rejoiced at the birth of the First Child of Hip Hop Royalty, the gossip mags could not let the story go unblemished.

So it makes sense that today they are reporting that his child with Beyonce is NOT his first. According to RadarOnline, Jay-Z has a secret son in Trinidad that he fathered with model Shenelle Scott. The story was broken by Shenelle’s ex’s father (so it obviously is 95% false) to Star Magazine, and he claims that although the singer/rapper does not see the child, he pays child support and gave Shenelle a million dollars to keep the story under wraps.

The story continues, saying that while Beyonce was livid to hear the news, she is determined to stand by her man.

If one celebrity couple exemplified the reason to squash reality television now, it’s the Gosselins. Lead by uptight Kate and slacker Jon, the family rose to fame, shattered, and fell apart on national television.

And now that their reality show got the boot, the divorced couple’s battle is heating up, with Kate claiming that she is “freaking out” about going broke without the show and Jon, who has been seen working on a construction crew as of recently, showing no sympathy for his ex-wife:

Jon was certainly looked down upon after the divorce for dating a much-younger woman, partying, and dressing 10 years too young. However, as Kate splurged on fancy cars and vacations across the world, it seems Jon was the one thinking logically.

Maybe Kate should have stayed out the spotlight once her divorce was aired to the public. Or maybe Jon should have taken off the Ed Hardy t-shirts and concentrated on his children.

Or MAYBE, and I think this is most likely – maybe no one is in the wrong here except the executives behind the reality show that destroyed this family’s life. When a celebrity gossip blog says it, I think it’s time to listen.

In what is Hollywood’s most recent whirlwind romance, actors Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig have reportedly married in a secret ceremony in upstate New York this past weekend. The British couple, who were only accompanied at the ceremony by their children from previous marriages and two witnesses, have only been seeing each other for 6 months, but according to locals in a town they vacationed in, they look as though they’d been together for years. According to US Weekly,

“They picked up groceries at a little corner shop, probably to take home and cook or prepare for their roast,” a local told Us Weekly at the time. “They walked through the street like a married couple who had been together for ages — very much in love, very cozy and cute.”

Perhaps this is what marriage is supposed to be like – less glitz and glamour and flowers and expensive dresses, just two people in love with those closest to them.

Although the marriage was a definite shock, especially considering Rachel Weisz was engaged to her ex, director Darren Aronovsky, for 5 years, we wish them luck in the future!

In case you’ve been living under a very cool and inviting rock (I’d love to join you), Playboy magnate Hugh Hefner was recently left by his fiancee, 24 year old Crystal Harris, just days before their planned wedding. Hef announced the news via his Twitter feed, and claimed to be heartbroken, even raising an eyebrow at the fact that she left him the day her single hit iTunes.

However, it only took Hef a week to find a new nubile model to keep him company in bed. Anna Sophia Berglund, 25-year-old January Playmate of the Month, is apparently the most recent of the blond bombshells to call herself the 85-year-old man’s girlfriend. According to reports, they were seen kissing at cuddling at the Playboy mansions regular movie night, and are already calling each other “babe”.

At this point, there isn’t even a reason to scoff at this multi-millionaire’s dating choices. With two failed marriages and a failed engagement in his pocket, it pretty much makes sense that he just continually rotates beautiful blond 20-somethings through his mansion instead of trying to concentrate on just one, especially when they are all clearly in it for the dollah billz. With less than a few decades left on this planet, we gotta hand it to Hef for knowing how to spend his remaining years. No use trying to marry a bimbo when you can easily run through them like disposable diapers (that he may be wearing right at this moment).

In the last week, we’ve seen quite a spike in celebrity break ups in the news, and it got us thinking? What’s going on? Coincidence? Is there something in the California water? Or is Spring just a time when couples decide to call it quits?

Arnold and Maria Shriver were the first couple to call it quits, ending their 25 year marriage earlier this week. Considering the very well-known fact that Arnie has a bit of a problem fondling the ladies, this one wasn’t a huge surprise. What was a surprise was how long it took to happen! We wonder if it had to do with Arnold’s move from the entertainment industry into politics – scandals like a divorce can often harm chances of election. Perhaps with Arnold’s term coming to an end they felt it was finally okay to publicly split.

Hayden Pannettiere and her boxer beau Wladimir Klitschko reportedly broke up, and according to Wlad (is that the nickname for Wladimir?), it had a lot to do with managing a relationship from separate continents. DUH ALERT, everyone. We wonder if Hayden was just tired of answering questions about how they “do it,” when he is over a foot taller than her.

Last but not least, on-again, off-again couple Bar Refaeli and Leonardo DiCaprio are officially off, again, according to The Herald Sun (and everyone else). We always wonder about couples who break up and reunite several times. Does it mean they are meant for each other but the timing is always off, or does it mean they are trying too hard to make something work that is so obviously wrong? The two are very attractive and will surely meet new lovers (Leo reportedly already has), but we wonder if we’ll be seeing this couple again in the future.

Despite their 17 year age difference, a source says that the couple are a “perfect pair,” and that Paul’s children love her as well.

It’s always surprising to me when a person who has gone through an extraordinarily difficult split ends up getting married again. Sure, the problem might be that you two weren’t meant for each other, but it also shines a spotlight on the underlying issues in marriage as an institution. Paul lost an unheard of $50 million dollars in his divorce with Heather Mills, and yet has decided to jump into another with no prenup?! YIKES.
