Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy Break Up

That’s right: the couple, who have been going strong for five years, suddenly broke up and posted it on the social networking site Twitter. “Jenny and I have just ended our 5yr relationship. I’m grateful 4 the many blessings we’ve shared and I wish her the very best!” was Jim’s post, while Jenny’s said, “I’m so grateful for the years Jim and I had together. I will stay committed to Jane and will always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart.”
The hilarious duo probably used Twitter as an outlet to avoid the media hype that would have undoubtedly speculate about them for months. While it might seem like a very public way to go, it’s probably about as private as a high profile celebrity can get.
