CanDoBetter is, as the creator Dr. J.D. Block puts it, is a “social networking site that fuses together traditional dating and a ‘New Age’ experience.” Now, we’re not exactly sure which aspect of New Age he claims to be exercising, but we’re pretty sure that no part of the New Age definition includes convincing someone that their date isn’t good enough for them, which is exactly what the site does.
Based on our first look, CanDoBetter is a site that lets you put your potential online date up for appraisal, by putting a photo of you along side your potential mate, waiting a few hours, and letting the judging panel on the site decide if “he can do better,” “she can do better,” or they’re a “perfect match.”
Cons:
- Why are you so lacking in confidence that you need someone else to tell you if you’re hot enough for your potential date, or
- So arrogant that you want everyone to tell you your pick is “totally not good enough”? or
- So wishy-washy that you can’t make up your own mind about whether or not someone is attractive, or
- So superficial that you need the validation of others that someone is in your league
