Nicole Ritchie Getting Married
Just more proof that the old dating > marriage > baby process isn’t the only legitimate path in a relationship, Nicole Ritchie and her boyfriend Joel Madden (also the father of her two children) are tying the knot this weekend, according to reports from Radar Online. The couple, who have been together for several years, are apparently getting married in an intimate, romantic ceremony at the house of Nicole’s father – famous crooner Lionel Ritchie.
Sources say the couple are keeping their guest list small, much to the chagrin of many of their celebrity friends, but we think they’ve made the right choice. As a couple who have been in the spotlight on several occasions (Joel Madden for his band Good Charlotte, Nicole for some less than savory run-ins with the law, drugs, and eating disorders), we applaud their effort to keep their union as private as possible.
