Online Dating Soars After Release of iPad

Apple’s release of the new tablet computer called the ‘iPad’ back in May sparked a lot of discussion, from its awesome capabilities to its glaring mistakes. One of the things that wasn’t brought up, though, was the impact it was to have on the online dating industry.
According to a recent report by GlobalPersonals.co.uk, online dating numbers have soared by 30% since the iPad was launched earlier this year. Furthermore, “iPad users also visit 126 per cent more pages and typically stay on [dating sites] 119 per cent longer than other mobile devices, beating out the iPhone and the iPod Touch.”
We suppose this means that the next time you’re in a coffee shop and a cute guy or girl in the corner is browsing the web on their iPad, you should take a chance, swing by, and tell them to find you on a site, whether it be Match.com or OnlineBootyCall. ;)
